The following postage stamp varieties were first issued by the U.S. All three were issued using both the “wet” and “dry” printing methods. The 10¢ stamp paid the postage for a one ounce letter to Central and South America, the 15¢ stamp paid the postage for a one ounce letter to Europe and parts of the Middle East and the 25¢ stamp paid the postage for a one ounce letter to Asia, the South Pacific and parts of Africa.
